MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Bringing together wine enthusiasts, industry professionals, and curious visitors, the French Wine & Spirits Fair 2026 celebrated the rich heritage, craftsmanship, and savoir-faire of French wines and spirits on September 26, 2026, at Alliance Française de Manille.
Organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines and Alliance Française de Manille, with the support of the Embassy of France in the Philippines, the fair invited guests to discover, taste, and purchase a curated selection of French wines and spirits in an intimate, salon-style setting inspired by traditional French wine fairs.
Featuring labels from some of France’s most renowned wine-producing regions alongside a distinctive selection of spirits, the event brought together merchants and industry experts who guided visitors through a diverse range of products while sharing the traditions, stories, and expertise behind each bottle.
A key highlight of the fair was its series of expert-led masterclasses, offering participants a deeper understanding of French wine regions, production traditions, and the distinctive characteristics of selected wines and spirits. Led by representatives from participating exhibitors Happy Living, Terroir Wines PH, WineDrop – AWC, Le Cellier, and High Proof, the sessions covered a variety of regions and themes:
Loire Valley — Ian Santos, Sommelier Consultant at Terroir Wines PH
Rhône Valley — Jorinda Flour, Owner of Le Cellier
Burgundy & Beaujolais — Julian Gagliardi, General Manager of Happy Living
Bordeaux — Jean Philippe Guillot, General Manager of WineDrop – AWC
Entertaining at Home with French Spirits — Mark Canteras, Partner at High Proof
Through guided tastings and interactive discussions, participants gained insights into the diversity of France’s wine-producing regions, the expertise behind their production, and the different ways French wines and spirits can be enjoyed and appreciated.
Complementing the tasting experience was Zwiesel Glas, which provided glassware throughout the fair, allowing guests to fully appreciate the aromas, character, and nuances of the wines and spirits presented.
Beyond the tastings and educational sessions, the fair also provided a platform for guests to engage directly with merchants, discover new labels, and explore products for personal enjoyment. For industry professionals and prospective buyers, the event created opportunities to build connections, exchange insights, and identify potential business opportunities within the French wine and spirits sector.
At its heart, the French Wine & Spirits Fair celebrated the French art of convivialité — the pleasure of coming together over good drinks, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences. By bringing together French producers, local merchants, industry professionals, and enthusiasts, the event highlighted the enduring appeal of French wines and spirits while fostering cultural and commercial connections between France and the Philippines.
The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines extends its sincere appreciation to Alliance Française de Manille, the Embassy of France in the Philippines, the Wine and Spirits partners (Happy Living, Terroir Wines PH, WineDrop – AWC, Le Cellier, and High Proof), the Glassware Partner (Zwiesel Glas), the Media Partners (WhenInManila.com, The Manila Times, Manila Bulletin, and Daily Tribune), and the guests who contributed to the success of this year’s edition.
