Chairman: Gie Garcia, Co-Managing Director & Chief Sustainability Officer, NEO

This committee aims to be a platform wherein our members will be able to network with like-minded individuals and share key information that will help them achieve their business goals.

Several times during the year, the committee organises meetings open to the members of CCI France Philippines and discusses major themes in the French Filipino business environment. This committee aims to provide a platform for the members of CCIFP from the sector of Infrastructure, Construction, Energy and Real Estate to discuss pressing issues and share their business strategies to attain business development.

Primary objectives: 

  • Share best practices (unless confidential)  and discuss relevant issues within the Infrastructure, Construction, Real Estate and Energy industry. 
  • Encourage small, medium and large enterprises of the sector to collaborate with one another and create business opportunities together. 
  • Create networking events to generate new leads and business opportunities. 
  • Deliver key information on the business climate in the Philippines and in France. 
  • Form a stronger connection between French and Philippine enterprises in these sectors

 

Sustainability

Chairman: Jos Ortega, CEO at Havas Ortega & Philip Mareschal, Senior Director – Head of Property & Asset Management at JLL Philippines, Inc.

The Sustainable Committee aims to involve representatives of the companies and stakeholders, concerned to share their experience and expertise in terms of sustainability, within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Sustainability is a multi-faceted concept that encompasses environmental, economic and social dimensions and should be reflected in public and private efforts towards profit that takes the planet into account. Therefore, committed businesses at all scales and in all sectors must value best practices, long-term goals, active efforts and innovative solutions; all of which are guided by corporate policies focused on sustainability.

Primary objectives:

  • Define sustainability
  • Develop and implement a strategic sustainability plan aligned with the organization’s mission and values
  • Identify opportunities for resource efficiency and cost savings, such as reducing energy and water usage or optimizing supply chains
  • Promote business relations between France and the Philippines through the development of sustainability stewardship

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Chairman: Invictus Buenaventura, DEI Manager at Teleperformance & Marie Antoniette Mariano, 1st Vice President at BDO Unibank

This committee aims to be a platform wherein our members will be able to network with like-minded individuals and share key information that will help them achieve their business goals.

Several times during the year, the committee organises meetings open to the members of CCI France Philippines and discusses major themes in the French Filipino business environment. This committee aims to provide a platform for the members of CCIFP at the forefront of promoting gender inclusivity and diversity to discuss best practices and most effective strategies in the workplace.

Primary objectives:

  • Share best practices and discuss relevant issues on diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Create programs that will push forward practices revolving around the importance of promotion Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
  • Form a stronger connection between French and Philippine enterprises that advocate for best practices in mainstreaming diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • To create an environment to promote the representation and participation of different groups of individuals from different ages, races and ethnicities, sexual orientations, religions and culture.

Energy and renewable energy

This committee underscores the importance of collaboration, regulatory clarity, and strategic initiatives to drive growth and innovation within the energy sector in the Philippines. It emphasizes the need to foster connections among companies to facilitate project sharing and identify common opportunities. This collaborative approach is essential for leveraging collective strengths and driving sector-wide advancements.

Through collaboration and innovation, the committee aims to drive sustainable growth and make significant contributions to the energy sector in the Philippines.

Joint maritime committee

Chairman: Tore Henriksen, Chair Joint Maritime Committee of DCCP, GPCCI, NordCham, CCIFP, and PNBC

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines is part of the Joint Maritime Committee, joining the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Nordic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines and the Philippines Norway Business Council.

Established by and for Maritime representatives thought leaders, and stakeholders, the JMC is a space for dialogue on highly relevant maritime affairs, mainly in the Philippines. The Committee meets every last Thursday of the Month, whereas invited key speakers share their experience, expertise and insight on a specific maritime topic.

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS

Chairman: John Fisalbon, CEO at ReelReve

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines dedicates a space and community for its community of young professionals through the committee of France-Philippine Young Professionals. The Chamber’s FPYP serves to engage and support young individuals starting their careers or are in the early stages of professional development.
