Dedicated TP Dream Builder volunteers lend a helping hand during the Brigada Eskwela school brigade, participating in various cleanup, painting, and maintenance activities to support local public elementary schools and ensure seamless start of the schoolyear.
TP, a global leader in digital business services, recently participated in the 2026 Brigada Eskwela program, an annual flagship initiative by the Department of Education (DepEd) that calls on teachers, learners, parents, communities, and stakeholders to unite in preparing public schools across the country with the theme, “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman” (Working Together in Schools: Unity for the Nation’s Orderliness and Knowledge),” focusing on improving school infrastructure and strengthening literacy.
Over 100 volunteers from several TP sites raised funds for school supplies, and helped conduct a simultaneous general cleaning and repainting of the school facilities last June 6 before the start of the school year. The coordinated effort showcased the spirit of “Bayanihan” (mutual assistance) and displayed remarkable dedication of employees to refurbish school materials and classrooms. These participating TP sites included Baguio, Molino, Bacolod, General Santos City, Pasig, Pampanga, Cebu, Davao, and Cagayan De Oro.
This organized volunteerism effort was made possible through TP’s corporate social responsibility arm, Citizen of the World (COTW), and its volunteer program called TP Dream Builders. TP in the Philippines has consistently supported Brigada Eskwela, demonstrating the organization’s continued commitment to improving school facilities and resources and promoting volunteerism and community engagement.
