The newly elected Board of Directors for the 2026-2028 term with the CCIFP Team

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines (CCIFP) successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 on March 10, 2026, at Ascott Bonifacio Global City, Manila, bringing together members of the French-Filipino business community to review the Chamber’s achievements, discuss its strategic priorities, and look ahead to the future.

The event opened with remarks from outgoing CCIFP President Jacques Christophe Branellec, who reflected on his four years of service and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the Chamber and the strengthening of French-Philippine business relations.

Her Excellency Marie Fontanel, Ambassador of France to the Philippines and Micronesia, also addressed attendees and highlighted the significant potential for further expanding economic and commercial ties between France and the Philippines, emphasizing the many opportunities for collaboration between both countries.

CCIFP Managing Director Kevin Charuel then presented the Chamber Report 2026, providing members with an overview of the Chamber’s key achievements, activities, and initiatives over the past year. This was followed by the Treasurer’s Report delivered by CCIFP Treasurer Gilles Collin, who presented the Chamber’s financial performance and outlook.

The program also featured keynote speaker Dante Tinga of BDO Unibank, who shared valuable insights on the Philippine economic outlook for 2026, offering perspectives on market trends, business opportunities, and the evolving investment environment.

Attendees also heard from Prince Dellosa of France-Philippines United Action (FPUA), who introduced the foundation and highlighted its initiatives in supporting local communities and fostering people-to-people ties between France and the Philippines.

A key highlight of the AGM was the election of the Chamber’s new Board of Directors for the 2026–2028 term. Following the successful attainment of the required quorum, the following individuals were elected to serve on the Board, listed in alphabetical order:

  • Philip Mareschal – President
  • Marie Antoinette Mariano – Vice President and Chairwoman of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee
  • Yassine Bakkari – Vice President and Chairman of the Healthcare Committee
  • Gilles Collin – Treasurer
  • Jean-Baptiste Dreanic – Chairman of the Energy & Renewable Energy Committee
  • Gie Garcia – Chairwoman of the Infrastructure & Construction Committee
  • Jos Ortega – Chairman of the Sustainability Committee
  • Johanna Janeo – Chairwoman of the Healthcare Committee
  • Mathieu Guillaume – Vice President for Visayas

The newly elected Board of Directors will help guide the Chamber’s strategic direction and continue its mission of promoting trade, investment, and economic cooperation between France and the Philippines.

Among the newly elected directors, Philip Mareschal was subsequently appointed President of CCIFP for the 2026–2028 term. As he assumes this new role, Philip expressed his commitment to building on the Chamber’s strong foundations while continuing to foster meaningful connections between French and Filipino businesses.

Looking ahead, he envisions CCIFP as a cornerstone of Franco-Philippine business collaboration—where French expertise and savoir-faire meet Filipino innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, creating opportunities for growth, partnership, and shared prosperity.
