Harvard-educated, Oxford-trained, and Duke-certified tax policy expert Raymond “Mon” Abrea, Founder and Chief Tax Advisor of the Asian Consulting Group (ACG), has been recognized among the 100 Most Influential Filipinos in the World during the 15th Annual TOFA (or “The Outstanding Filipino Awards”) for his leadership in global tax reform, fiscal transparency, and anti-corruption advocacy.

Abrea has become one of the leading voices from the developing world championing fair and efficient taxation, aligning with OECD global tax initiatives to ensure that multinational corporations pay their fair share while empowering MSMEs and investors in emerging markets.

Under his leadership, ACG is expanding globally with satellite offices in Singapore, Sydney, Dubai, London, Madrid, New York, and Silicon Valley, providing tax and investment advisory to international investors and global Filipino entrepreneurs.

He is currently advancing several urgent tax policy proposals in the Philippines — including the implementation of the Global Minimum Tax, a risk-based computer-assisted audit system, and full automation of tax administration — aimed at eliminating corruption, improving ease of doing business, and creating a level playing field for all taxpayers.

Beyond his advisory work, Abrea’s TaxWhizPH Mobile App offers free tax education and online filing tools to millions of Filipino workers and OFWs worldwide. His global book series, Reimagining the World— spanning Without Corruption, Without Climate Change, and Without Poverty — and his Thought Leaders & Game Changers Podcast further amplify his advocacy for governance, sustainability, and inclusive growth.

“True influence is measured not by fame, but by impact,” Abrea said. “Through sound tax policy and global collaboration, we can reimagine a world without corruption, climate change, or poverty.”
