For the PWD farming community of Livelihood, Education and Rehabilitation Center (LERC), Servathon2025 was more than just a one-day event—it was a powerful affirmation that they belong, they matter, and they are not alone. Spearheaded by SodexoPhilippines, and made possible through a crucial connection forged at a CCIFP event, the initiative marked a meaningful step toward improving the quality of life for Persons with Disabilities by providing sustainable livelihood support and championing the values of belonging, inclusion, and dignity. This vital partnership was further strengthened with the support of the France-Philippines United Action Foundation (FPUA).
With the theme “Advancing Sustainability Together” – an engagement with People with Disabilities (PWDs), the event reflected Sodexo’s deep commitment to building inclusive communities and addressing social challenges through its BetterTomorrow objectives.
A key highlight of the event was SodexoPH’s donation of ₱30,000 worth of seedlings to Bigay Buhay Multipurpose Cooperative and its adopted community, the LERC, benefiting PWD farmers and supporting their agricultural activities. In addition, Sodexo employees contributed gardening tools through a fundraising drive, further strengthening the community’s capacity for sustainable farming.
Held at Dr. Jose Rodriguez Memorial Hospital in Caloocan City, the event brought together members of the Sodexo Philippines Leadership Team—Paul Debaprateem; Maria Krisanta Zara; Engr. Gary P.; Jeff Allan Tadeo; and Servathon Champion, Marili Josie Amper —alongside Sodexo employees and volunteers who stood in solidarity with the PWD community.
This collective effort showcases the transformative power of partnerships between the private sector, government, and civil society—all working together with one shared goal: creating a more inclusive, sustainable, and equitable future for all. Sodexo Servathon StopHunger JointheMovement
