METRO MANILA, Philippines – The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines (CCIFP) unveiled its newly rebranded annual event, Le French Gala 2024, on November 21, 2024, at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila. This elegant gathering brought together the French-Filipino community to celebrate cultural ties, foster connections, and honor outstanding achievements.
The event opened with a speech by CCI France President Jacques Christophe Branellec, setting the tone for an evening of elegance and collaboration. Notable attendees included the French Ambassador to the Philippines Marie Fontanel, and Carlos Yulo, a two-time Olympic gold medalist.
Guests were treated to an unforgettable evening featuring live performances by violinist Jay Cayuca, singer Elle Adda, and the Daloy Dance Group, who performed a mix of ballet and cariñosa, capturing the essence of French and Filipino artistry. Culinary delights prepared by top chefs at Shangri-La The Fort showcased a fusion of flavors that embodied the best of both cuisines, complemented by a selection of premium wines and spirits.
The highlight of the evening was the awarding ceremony for Le Trophée Bleu: Business Sustainability Awards Year 3, which honored outstanding initiatives in sustainable development. Make Sense was celebrated as the winner of the Sustainable Excellence for SMEs Category, showcasing their commitment to impactful growth. Acted was recognized in the Peace Category for their exceptional contributions to fostering harmony and collaboration. CMA CGM earned the Partnership Category, highlighting their dedication to building impactful alliances. In the Planet Category, Sodexo was awarded for their initiatives promoting environmental sustainability, while Essilor Luxottica emerged as the winner in the People Category for their efforts in uplifting communities and fostering social responsibility.
