Manila, Philippines – The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines attended the recently-concluded Grand Launching of the ATA Carnet accreditation in the Philippines last July 15, 2024 at Maynila Ballroom, Manila Hotel.

The ATA Carnet, also known as the “Passport for Goods,” is set to revolutionize the country’s trade and commerce landscape. It is an international customs document that allows the temporary importation of goods without the need to pay customs duties and taxes. This system is recognized by over 80 countries and territories, facilitating the duty-free and tax-free importation of goods for up to one year.
