Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 20) — The Miss Universe Philippines Organization on Tuesday unveiled the La Mer En Majesté Crown, which will be perched on the head of the new queen on April 30.
The organization said the new crown was created in partnership with international jewelry brand Jewelmer.
Dubbed as the country’s national gem, the golden pearl is “a radiant symbol of the harmonious relationship between man and nature, capturing the very spirit of the Filipinos,” the organization said.
“The Miss Universe Philippines Organization and Jewelmer envision this crown as a homage to her majesty, the sea, for she is the queen of the elements. Generous and powerful, she provided the world with this precious gem and contributed the crowned jewel to this exceptional masterpiece, the illustrious Miss Universe Philippines Crown,” they said.
