Last 28 January 2026, CCI France Philippines held the second edition of Le Prix DE&I, an initiative recognizing exemplary leadership and transformative efforts in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across the Philippine business and community landscape.
This year, the ceremony honored outstanding contributions across four distinguished categories: People Award, Organisation Award, Project Award, and Community Impact Award, spotlighting impactful initiatives and changemakers driving inclusive and equitable progress. Below are the winners in each category:
People Category: Pascal Pecheur
Pascal Pecheur is recognized for his exemplary leadership in advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at EssilorLuxottica Philippines. He has implemented initiatives such as “WE TALK with Pascal” and the IGNITE-PH Network, fostering mentorship, intergenerational development, and inclusive dialogue. Under his leadership, the company has strengthened gender and cultural inclusion, ensured pay equity, enhanced workplace accessibility, and promoted community engagement through programs like the Siargao Vision Clinic. These efforts contributed to EssilorLuxottica Philippines’ recognition at the Le Trophée Bleu: Best in Sustainability Awards 2024, and he continues to drive DEI initiatives with strategic, long-term impact.
Organisation Category: L’Oréal Philippines
L’Oréal Philippines is recognized for integrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across its operations, leadership, and growth strategies. Its DE&I approach focuses on gender equity and LGBTQIA+, health and disability, socioeconomic and multicultural origins, and age and generations. Inclusive hiring, gender-blind recruitment, and annual pay gap analyses ensure equity across the employee lifecycle. A cross-functional DEI Committee drives local implementation, while programs such as Share & Care and unconscious bias training strengthen workplace inclusion. Externally, the company delivers impact through inclusive sourcing, NGO partnerships, and initiatives like Beauty for a Better Life and e-BA Training, benefiting thousands of its target audience. These efforts have resulted in 93 percent of employees reporting fairness at work and earned the company GEEIS Level 2 certification. L’Oréal Philippines continues to expand its DEI initiatives, aiming to deepen accountability and scale impact in the coming years.
Project Category: Sodexo On-Site Services Philippines
Sodexo Philippines is recognized for DE&I initiatives that empower communities through training, mentorship, and inclusion programs. The SheWorks Initiative, in partnership with Life Project 4 Youth, has trained over 230 marginalized young women and employed 92, earning the GEEIS-SDG Trophy for its impact on gender equality. The PWD Empowerment Program and Seeds of Change, in partnership with BBMC and the Learning, Education, and Rehabilitation Centre (LERC), create inclusive livelihood opportunities through urban farming. Produce from the community is integrated into Sodexo’s Farm to Fork operations, fostering a sustainable and inclusive food value chain. Together, these programs advance social inclusion, drive measurable impact, and continue to expand to more communities.
Community Impact (NGO) Award: Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y)
LP4Y Philippines is recognized for its transformative programs supporting the social and professional inclusion of young adults facing exclusion and poverty, with a focus on empowering young women. Operating six Training & Development Centers, including in Taguig, Tondo, Calauan, Lapu-Lapu, and city jails, LP4Y provides a six-month program combining technical skills, leadership, and real-world experience. Since 2009, over 3,400 youth have benefited, with 76% of 2025 participants successfully entering professional roles. LP4Y’s initiatives have positively impacted more than 44,000 community members, including young mothers supported through nurseries such as Little Angels Academy in Tondo. Looking ahead, LP4Y aims to support 900 youth in the next 1–3 years, expand support for young mothers, strengthen alumni assistance, and build multi-stakeholder coalitions to broaden its reach and replicate its model across the Philippines.
Le Prix DE&I highlights the growing commitment of individuals, organizations, and projects driving diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Philippines. From empowering youth and supporting marginalized communities to embedding inclusive practices within organizations, these awardees exemplify how intentional DE&I initiatives can create lasting social impact.
