The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines held the Fourth Edition of Le Trophée Bleu: Business Sustainability Awards during its flagship event, Le French Gala, last November 27, 2025 in Shangri-La The Fort, BGC, recognizing six winning initiatives of CCI members that uphold the framework of the United Nations’ (UN) Sustainable Development Goals.

This year’s edition of Le Trophée Bleu comprised six diverse categories, each aimed to highlight different areas of specialties and recognize unique accomplishments of members: Partnership, Planet, People, Prosperity, and Sustainable Excellence for SMEs award. 

A month before the awarding ceremony, a renowned panel of experts was invited to deliberate on companies’ submissions, in partnership with HAVAS Ortega. Eya Khammari, Managing Director of Artelia Philippines, and Gie Garcia, Co-Managing Director of N-Park BGC Properties Inc. (NEO), served as judges for the People, Partnership, and Prosperity categories. Meanwhile, Mint Marquez, Co-Executive Director for Development and Research of makesense Asia, and Mathilde Séjourné, Head of Cooperation and Cultural Action Section of the French Embassy to the Philippines & Micronesia, assessed the categories Planet, Peace, and Sustainable Excellence for SMEs.

Volunteers from the Ascott Limited Philippines’ “Seeds of Hope” In Action

The Ascott Limited Philippines’ Seeds of Hope sheds light on the importance of sustainable activities for greener, healthier, and more resilient communities. This is a nationwide tree-planting activity aimed at rehabilitating Barangay Buhisan, Cebu, Barangay Panuran, Iloilo, Barangay Felisa, Bacolod, and Barangay Payatas, Quezon City, in Metro Manila. The Ascott Limited Philippines facilitated community engagement and partnerships to increase impact by encouraging participation among its employees, guests, local communities, volunteers, and partner organizations. As a result, over 435 native trees were planted across major locations, 200 volunteers participated in these efforts, and innovative sustainability practices were incorporated in Bacolod and the Payatas Eco Park.

Their program includes initiatives such as the Bigay Buhay Multipurpose Cooperative (BBMC), Life Project for Youth (LP4Y), AGREA, and the Deltacom Foundation, embodying Sodexo’s belief that sustainable growth takes place when businesses deliver compassion into action and empower people and communities to thrive.

L’Oréal Philippines’ Beauty for a Better Life (BFBL) program reflects that beauty and education can come hand-in-hand and help transform lives by opening paths to livelihood building and education. This project is targeted to bring new opportunities and address the growing disparities of job opportunities and living standards among Filipinos. The program of L’Oréal Philippines introduced a free hairdressing training, an “e-Beauty Advisor” program, and meaningful partnerships with impactful stakeholders, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), to reach new cities and beneficiaries.

STMicroelectronics, Inc.’s award-winning initiative is its Energy Management System (EnMs) program, a representation of the company’s sustained commitment to energy excellence, distinguished by its innovative integration of technology, governance, and sustainability, and underpinned by the ISO 50001-certified energy management system at ST Calamba from 2020. Espoir School of Life’s mission is to create safe and inclusive learning spaces for learners across regions, CARAGA, Region XII, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), to equip communities with knowledge on life skills, environmental awareness, livelihood training, and community-based enterprise. Their company launched the Espoir Model School Lab and Bayay Espoir or “House of Hope,” which are their innovative learning hubs to provide schooling in areas where education is needed most, such as in remote islands, conflict-affected areas, and Indigenous settlements. In effect, they were able to serve hundreds of learners across all regions, training about 1,200 government teachers and 600 education advocates nationwide.
