In collaboration with the MDLE team, Savencia Fromage & Dairy have successfully organized their first-ever French Pastry Masterclass led by Chef Benjamin De Closets, offering an exclusive and immersive experience in French pastry artistry.
The exclusive masterclass was joined by 18 Chefs from 9 customers. Chef Ben‘s brilliance and patience surely boosted all the participants enthusiasm throughout the day.
Together, they created 5 MDLE recipes:
Signature Mille Feuille – classic cream based puff pastry with diplomate cream and creamcheese caramel
Creme Brulee Brioche – smooth cream cheese pastry cream on a streusel & caramel opaline-topped brioche
Truffle Croque-Monsieur Twist – a fresh take on this classic using a croissant dough
Mini Tokyo Bun – black bun with squid ink, with wasabi-scallop cream cheese filling
A Taste of Sicily – layers of pistachio and apricot flavors and textures, inspired by the famous Dubai chocolate
Held at the transformed Santini Test Kitchen, the venue took on the charm of a Parisian café — the perfect setting for a day of culinary creativity. This exclusive masterclass not only celebrated gastronomy but also deepened partnerships and appreciation for French savoir-faire in the Philippines.
