Better With Water invites you to the Opening Ceremony of the 2gether4water Photo Exhibition, happening on Thursday, June 19, from 6:00 PM onwards at Alliance Française de Manille, Makati.
Since 2009, Better With Water has worked to improve sustainable water access in urban underserved communities across the Philippines, also addressing firefighting, hygiene, and solid waste management. Their annual 2gether4water campaign — supported by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) — raises awareness of water access challenges through storytelling and visual impact.
This year’s theme, “5 Years Before 2030: Where Do We Stand on SDG 6?”, shines a light on the progress (and setbacks) in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation for All.
The featured photojournalist Linus Escandor documents real-life stories of resilience and transformation from communities where clean water was once out of reach. His work offers a moving perspective on both the challenges and the progress toward SDG 6 in the Philippines.
This event will bring together WASH experts, water industry professionals, changemakers, and advocates passionate about inclusive development.
