The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines is pleased to welcome its newest individual member, Leo Rodrigo Failma.
Mr. Leo Failma is a dynamic leader and visionary entrepreneur born and raised in the vibrant region of Mindanao where he embarked on a remarkable journey at a young age. After attending Ateneo de Davao, he left the Philippines at age 10, experiencing diverse cultures and honing his skills. A brief stay in Hong Kong was followed by an enriching summer camp in the UK, where he perfected his English. His journey then led him to France,
where he embraced a new nationality at 18 and graduated from the prestigious Vatel Institute in Lyon in 1995.
Leo’s career began in hospitality, where he honed his skills in creating memorable experiences for a few years. However, his entrepreneurial spirit soon led him to London, where he founded a successful real estate company, followed by a venture in the MICE industry. In 2016, he strategically relocated operations to the Philippines and founded Rockbird Media in Singapore. His company now boasts a presence across Southeast Asia and Australia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Australia – a true testament to his commitment to innovation and growth.
Fluent in English, French, and Bisaya, and currently learning Tagalog, Leo is a well-traveled individual who thrives on exploring new places. Beyond his professional achievements, he is passionate about leading with purpose and nurturing talent, believing that true success lies in empowering others. As the founder and CEO of two companies and a business consultant for others, Leo brings a wealth of experience and a visionary approach thanks to his unique journey.
