Dasmarinas, Cavite – In a recent visit on July 17, the CCI France-Philippines team had the opportunity to tour Glove Story, a distinguished glove manufacturing company with over 25 years of experience. Frederic Goupy, Founder and President Director General of Glove Story, warmly welcomed the team and shared insights into the meticulous processes that define the craftsmanship behind each pair of gloves produced at their facility.

During the tour, Frederic guided the CCIFP team through the production line, highlighting the intricate steps involved in glove-making. The process begins with the careful sorting of high-quality leathers, which are then expertly stretched in preparation for cutting. Frederic took particular pride in showcasing Glove Story’s know-how—recognized worldwide— which emphasizes the dedication to quality and precision that sets their products apart.

On average, Glove Story produces between 400 to 600 pairs of gloves each day, owing the latter to the peak seasons. The production facility in Dasmarinas employs around 50 skilled workers, while an additional 50 are employed at their Batangas site, all contributing to the company’s commitment to excellence.

The visit underscored Glove Story’s dedication to handcrafted quality, with each glove representing a labor of love and meticulous attention to detail. From the initial leather selection to the final design touche— reflecting the brand’s unwavering commitment to craftsmanship.
