MAKATI, Philippines — The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines (CCIFP), in collaboration with BDO, organized an exclusive networking luncheon featuring the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
Held at the Narra Hall, BDO Towers in Valero, Makati City, the event brought together industry leaders and stakeholders to discuss the latest tax regulations, compliance requirements, and upcoming policy changes. This initiative aimed to provide different businesses with insights directly from the BIR on how these changes could impact their business operations within the Philippines.
The Luncheon featured Assistant Commissioner Atty. Larry Barcelo from the BIR who offered an in-depth analysis of recent tax developments and their implications for both local and foreign businesses. Mon Abrea, founder of the Asian Consulting Group, served as the event’s moderator, facilitating an exchange of ideas among the attendees and the BIR representative. This discussion provided an avenue for participants to raise questions and seek clarifications on tax issues relevant within their industries.
The CCIFP expressed its gratitude to all attendees and partners for their great contribution to the success of the luncheon. The Chamber thanked BDO for its collaboration and both Atty. Larry Barcelo and Mon Abrea for their valuable insights.
CCIFP reiterated its commitment to assisting its members in achieving full compliance with government regulations and is looking forward to hosting similar events in the future to further support the business community in the Philippines.
