Last December 15, 2023, the opening ceremony for the new visa application collection center for France in Manila was held at the 1 Proscenium Tower, 9th floor, Estrella, Makati City. This is following a change of service provider for receiving visa applicants and processing applications. Present at the inaugural ceremony of the new visa application center were Ambassador Marie Fontanel, Mr. Gabriele PIVA, Head of Worldwide Operations of the TLScontact Group, and Mr. Jesus DOMINGO, Undersecretary for Consular Affairs of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs.
In her speech, the Ambassador welcomed the opening of the new collection centers in Manila and Cebu, and the announcement of the new partnership with TLScontact, with a view to constantly improving the reception of the public and facilitating and optimizing procedures for visa applicants.
