MANILA CITY (CCIFP) — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) officially launched its online platform last July 12, 2023, which primarily aims to enable foreign nationals to apply and pay for its services making it more accessible and convenient.
Launched as “BI e-Services,” the innovative platform serves as an alternative option to access immigration services and revolutionize clients’ engagement with immigration procedures in addition to in-person transactions at any BI offices nationwide. The following services can be accessed on the BI e-Services:
- Visa Waiver;
- Emigration Clearance Certificate or Certificate of Exemption Series B (ECC/CE-B)
- Tourist Visa Extension (TVE)
- Waiver of Exclusion Ground (WEG) for arriving unaccompanied minors; and
- Dual Citizenship under R.A 9225.
