Decarbonization is crucial to addressing the climate crisis as carbon emissions contribute to global warming\, which has far-reaching impacts on our planet’s ecosystems and human societies. The Philippines is among the countries most vulnerable to climate change\, despite contributing less than 1% of global carbon emissions. According to the UNDP\, the country has set a target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 75% by 2030. \nThe infrastructure industry has a significant interest in decarbonization because it is responsible for a large portion of the country’s carbon emissions and greenhouse gas emissions.
